Who is Chur Bro and what are we all about?

We're a small Palmy-proud business in the Manawatu. We love living in Palmy, from the Windmills that look over us to the bumps on Featherston street...it feels just like home.

Chur Bro was designed and set up by my daughter Anne and I to run a business together whilst celebrating and sharing the culture of New Zealand. Our brand captures a design that is uniquely Kiwi.

The idea for Chur Bro originally came from Anne trying to raise some money to go on camp. So we put our heads together and thought we'd set up a business to sell some hats..it certainly beats washing cars or babysitting!

We're both believers in creating a business that is sustainable by learning together.

Our logo and clothing reflects a passion to create a brand that is fun and unique. Chur Bro is all about relaxed and casual style that looks good. We're not fancy, eye gouging expensive...just good looking, well made street wear with a Kiwi twist...Chur Bro!

The logo was created by Aunt Kathe our family's resident artist! We gulped when we first saw it and thought wow, that's cool!

You can google Chur Bro and you'll get a few different answers but to us it just rolls off your tongue and is NZ in a sound bite; "it's all good", "she'll be right"..... take your pick.

"Found out your neighbor has driven through your fence...Chur Bro...probably not the first thing you'd say, but you'd definitely get a Chur if 5 mates came over fixed it up and popped some venison on the BBQ".

"Just ran over a small winger on the way to winning the rugby world cup....Chur Bro"
